Powdered Wood Filler that Fills Cracks of All Sizes!
EVO™ Powdered Wood Filler is a two-component, water-mixable product designed for both interior and exterior wood restoration projects. It fills holes, cracks of all sizes and allows the reconstitution of missing parts in addition to sculpting very easily. Formulated with a very hard resin, it adheres perfectly to all woods, agglomerates and plywood. This powdered wood filler is particularly appreciated for its excellent tint absorption during finishing. The product is available in 5 colours representing popular wood species. What’s more, this wood filler is easy to use, water-resistant and solvent-free. Because it dries so quickly, it can be sanded in less time than traditional wood filler, and can be varnished, painted, stained, sawed, nailed or screwed without any fuss. PREPARATION:
- Use only on bare wood surfaces that are clean, dry and free of dust or other contaminants that could prevent the filler from adhering to the surface.
- Do not apply to painted, varnished, waxed, oiled or greasy surfaces.
- Remove old finish before applying wood filler. Test for adhesion if necessary.
- Do not sand beyond 120 grit before applying the stain or finish, to allow it to impregnate the surface properly.
MIXING:
- MOLDING AND RECONSTITUTION: 3 parts powder to 1 part water.
- BIG HOLES: 2 parts powder to 1 part water.
- CRACKS AND IMPERFECTIONS: 1 part powder to 1 part water.
APPLICATION:
- Apply generously with a trowel or spatula to the surface to be repaired.
- Remove excess, taking care to even out and level the surface to be repaired.
- Use the mixture between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on dosage.
- If the product has thickened in the container, add a few drops of water to rehydrate it and mix well.
- For larger repairs, work in several coats.
- For exterior use, the wood filler must be covered with a top-coat finish.
NUMBER OF COAT:
- SMALL REPAIRS: 1 to 2 coats.
- MAJOR REPAIRS: 2 to 3 coats.
DRYING TIME:
Varies from repair to repair. (For information only)
- BEFORE SANDING: 30 to 90 minutes.
- BETWEEN COATS: 30 to 90 minutes.
- APPLY TOP-COAT: 30 to 90 minutes.
TOOL CLEANING:
Water, immediately after use.
